ASSIST Trauma Care is one of the leading UK providers of therapy for the psychological effects of trauma. 

We currently have vacancies for: 

Part-time Child Psychologist/Therapist

ASSIST is seeking to appoint a PART-TIME COUNSELLING PSYCHOLOGIST to work with children and young people affected by either single-incident or developmental trauma.  Some family and systemic work will also be involved.The post would be suitable for either a newly-qualified psychologist or a final year trainee.

Hours:   15 per week, with some flexibility in timing.

The successful candidate will have experience in relating to and working with children and young people of all ages, and also in using CBT techniques and evidence-based methods of helping children and their families move on from traumatic experiences.Salary is dependent upon experience and qualifications.

Trauma Therapist (Sessional) 

We are also looking to appoint a TRAUMA THERAPIST to deliver trauma-focused CBT to adults affected by single-incident trauma.  The applicant must be experienced in CBT techniques and have a minimum of post-diploma experience in working with psychological trauma.
